Hello~ In celebration of finishing my first week of translating and getting on Novel Updates, here’s an extra chapter!~ I had some extra time this week so I was able to get a good feel for how long it takes to translate and while I’m still not 100% certain, I think I can possibly do daily releases M-F. But if not, for sure 3 releases a week, that being M, W, F~ This’ll continue for a while so please stick around and read Ryu’s story with me. Thanks~

“Ne, ne, for Dragon Knight to become famous what should we do”

“That’s obvious isn’t it, we have to defeat heroes left and right”

“Is it fine to just defeat heroes?”

“U-n~, now that you mention it, just that feels like its not enough. I got it! Won’t it be fine if we defeat the King of Heroes?”

In one of the few spots within the forest where sunlight filters through the trees I was basking in the sun with Terry and Lily when Terry’s proposal sent my heart racing.

I solidified in surprise after melting and with an almost sunny side up egg body I crawled away from the two who brought up that topic.

Terry and Lilly, the three of us gathered one way or the other, today’s action was decided one way or the other.

Forming “Dragon Knight” with the both of them was the correct choice.

When we tell others of our party.

“Kusu, Dragon Knight huh, that’s good.”

“Don’t be too reckless.”

These kinds of various replies came back, we were seen with a warm gaze.

The impression that lower class monsters were overextending themselves was neatly conveyed.

With this I will be distanced from bothersome things, rather we will be told “it’s dangerous so go over there” if we stick our heads into trouble.

For me who wants to keep his distance from bothersome things, continuing on with “Dragon Knight” is the best method.

Dragon Knight and Big Mouse

In the center of the Deep Forest, in front of Mother Dragon.

The ordinarily dense magic further condensed into one spot.

The converged magic gradually materializes, becoming a giant crab.

A monster of the race Death Crab.

After four pair pincer crab completely materialized he bowed towards Mother Dragon–towards Kaa-san.

“You have my gratitude Mother Dragon.”

“It’s fine, this too is my role. I who is enshrined at the core of this Deep Forest.”

“Even so you have my gratitude.”

“All right,thank you for you consideration.”

The crab gives a deeper bow and departs from in front of Kaa-san.

With this all the monsters killed by the heroes raid have been resurrected.

Monsters killed within the Deep Forest can, as long as Mother Dragon is alive, be revived any number of times with the thick magic in the forest.

On the other hand if Mother Dragon is killed, the opportunity to resurrect will be lost and death shall be permanent.

First Step!

Hello, it may be a while before anyone reads this but here goes~

I have been wanting to improve my Japanese, so I thought I’d check out reading the raws of web novels I read. Albeit with some struggling on kanji, I managed to read at a decent pace while understanding what I read. Thus I thought why not try translating something~ So I came across this work which is by the same author of other web novels I read. I thought it was interesting so I hope you’ll enjoy it too!
