Dragon Knight was fighting hard.
The heroes were a low level party. Novices I wonder, anyway they were a recklessly plunging, two young men, two young girls, party of four.

“Nuts, restore me”
“I-I’m a little busy here so use a potion”

The heroes were flustered.
At a glance, rather than heroes, they gave a feeling of a friendly group of four.
Even at this Crystal Tower First Floor they were having a hard fight.

All nine floors composing Crystal Tower are, by guiding Shesta skillfully, from the bottom floor gradually getting stronger, is how the monsters were arranged.

“This is Crystal Tower, huh”
“That’s right, your dungeon”
“Not mine, this tower’s boss will be Shesta”

The Land God accepted that.
Rather than leave it to Shesta, it might be more convenient for me to do thing from behind the scenes.

Crystal Tower

With Shesta in the vanguard position, the monster procession advanced.
When thinking of what what we’ll be doing from here on it’s almost like pioneers, while thinking that I who was being carried by Yurie was right in the middle of the file.

Not in front, nor in the rear, right in the center.
As a simple slime, I mixed in among the small fry monsters.

“I’m tired already, we’ve been walking for around three days already now haven’t we?”
“It’s only been half a day Terry”

Next to me are the two familiar, the goblin Terry and the imp Lily.
Along with these two and I the slime we form “Dragon Knight”. I have absolutely no interest, but these two seem to have a dream of forming a party, steadily defeating heroes, and eventually just by hearing the name cause the heroes to tremble violently, rising to become big monsters.

“It has still only that long? I’m tired already, I want to go back to Deep Forest”
“Giving up is no good Terry. Perhaps where we’re going now there’s a white elf village nearby after all”

Some news:

I go back to Uni next week, so unfortunately that means the schedule’s going to change. I’m moving back to my apartment near the university and I have no internet there(killing me already) so other than when I’m actually at the university I can’t get online. Hopefully I’ll be able to get internet, but I’m tight on money since expenses add up~ I’ve applied this site for WordAds to see if I can get any revenue there, but I’m not too hopeful.

Well enough rambling about that~ I’ll still be able to get three chapters out next week, but after that I’ll release twice a week on Tuesday and Thursday. Sorry for the long preface, just wanted to make sure that anyone who cared knew what was going on.

I separated with the two of Dragon Knight, being carried by Yurie I was on my way back home.
On the roadside from within the thicket I found a faint shining thing.

“Stop”
“Eh? Ah yes”

Leaving side Yurie who was bewildered, I jumped down from her within her arms.
Hopping I headed towards the thicket, I confirmed the identity of the thing I found.

“This is, real. Pretty rare huh”
“What is Slime-sama”
“Ahh, mandragora. Have you not heard of it?”¹

Yurie shook her head. Until just a while ago she was a simple village girl, that’s how it it.

“A plant whose root is humanoid. It’s extremely rare, that root is magic item’s material”
“Is that so”
“Since it’s special let’s take it. Yurie, block your ears. You’ll die if you hear it’s shriek”
